Decision Bridges is a not-for-profit organization that promotes decision
making by consensus. Through workshops and publications, individuals and groups
learn to participate in, facilitate, and teach consensus decision making.
This decision-making methodology builds communication, bridges differences,
and allows teams to arrive at decisions that will result in supportable actions
because the entire team has had a part in the process.
publications were developed by teams of experts including our director, Mary
Ann Downey, and have been field tested in a variety of settings
with both teens and adults.
If you want to arrange for a workshop, acquire our publications, or simply
desire more information, please see our contact page.
Consensus decision making has had widespread success in a variety of settings.
The practice we teach is based on the process of seeking spirit-led unity used by
The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)
for more than 350 years.
